    Xbox is saying it can't connect to the WiFi even after factory reset. Can I get help?


    I got an Xbox for Christmas and I set it up fine it was working perfectly then one day it disconnected from the WiFi, so I tried connecting it again but it keeps saying "can't connect. Check Ur network name and password and try again" but I'm typing the password in correct every time. It been like this for week and I'm at the point where Ive just let the Xbox sit there and not using it. I've even tried factory resetting it and connecting it that way but the same message comes up. Is there a way to fix this or will I need to just get a new Xbox. (It's an Xbox series s btw)

    I tried a factory reset and it didn't help.

    The xbox has no wifi dongle and is connected via cable.

    On my pc, it says that the NAT is strict, even though I have UPNP enabled on my router.

    I tried giving the xbox a static IP and adding port forward rules in the router, but that didn't help.

    In the process of updating the xbox for the power on initial settings , halfway through the updating my wifi connection went out.. For a week the xbox would do things like, not stay powered on more than 3 minutes, or the tv signal would say there wasnt
    any😩😩😩... To the green screen of death!! After holding eject an power i was able to troubleshoot up to the point of getting my xbox to come on an stay on . But now even after both attempts at resetting factory resetting.. Everything Resetted!! But i still
    cant get to point in where i can set up my wireless connection .. so i can actually set up the xbox?!?!? Thanks again!! Im bout ready to go Sony

    My series x is reading a wired connection even when there isn't one plugged in.

    I am in the same predicament as Nick cole44. My console shows that is connected to the internet via Ethernet cable but no cable is connected at all. I tried to setup through wifi but none of my wifi options show up. I factory reset my console now I can't even access the dashboard.

    My error is that whenever I start a 360 game, I always have to wait the "Getting your xbox 360 info" message to load, after that, I can't download my profile because it says I cant connect live to xbox live. I live in Asia but I set my console in US.

    FYI: after the 1st factory reset, I can still launch Dead Space, just not able to download my profile. But after the 2nd factory reset, after I cleared my xbox 360 storage like TheytoldmeBlitz told me, I had my current Dead Space issue.

    Now, I try a lot of different ways but I can't connect live on my xbox 360 emulator.
