    Xbox is really, really slow right now.


    So I don't know why but my Xbox One is incredibly slow right now. It takes me anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour just to start my console. I keep getting the error code saying my Xbox dashboard is taking too long to start. This prevents me from doing
    any of the other methods of potentially fixing the issues besides shutting my Xbox completely off. I can't even do the manual factory reset where you press the eject button and the buton by the USB port because my Xbox won't load the page for me to select
    it. Is this a known problem or am I just completely [Mod removed- inappropriate]. If anyone knows anything please help.

    Hi there,

    Sorry to hear about the trouble with your xbox. Apart from doing the hard reset, may i ask do you have your xbox power supply directly plugged into the plug or is it plugged into adapters with other devices? This shouldn't be an issue but to isolate any
    issues. Try unplugging the console and try using a different plug. See if that might help the start up process.

    Also as mentioned above are you aware if your console is still under warranty?

    Yeah I tried power cycling it but it just persisted with th problem.
    Did you power cycle your network hardware at the same time as the console?

    Slow startup may be indicative of trying to connect to XBLive but your network is not running correctly to allow sign in.

    Have you tried hard reset/power cycle?

    Hold the power button for 10 seconds, unplug the power cord from the back of your device wait for 10 more seconds plug in and power on.

    Do you clear the cache regularly? Do you use external hd? If so is it full? My console with external hd when it is full takes a while to start, but not enough, try to clear the cache and see if it already solves, good luck!

    After a long fight my Xbox has allowed me to access the network settings. Does anyone know if having a strict NAT Type could be causing this? It used to be open but it seems to have changed. The Xbox is still really slow but it's starting to allow me to
