    Xbox is connected to internet but I have 100% packet loss, unsuccessful UPnP, and strict NAT.


    Just recently purchased the series X and I am trying to connect it to my college campus wifi. I had no issues with my previous console which was a one s. I am trying to use a wired connection and the console is connected to the wifi but I have 100% packet loss. I don't believe it is a network issue because I know a guy with the same console and he hasn't had any problems. I've tried hard resetting the console as well as messing around with the advanced network settings but nothing has worked. It looks like other people have had this issue but I haven't found a solution that works yet.

    Are you having disconnections while playing?

    There is this current inconsistency that shows 100% packet loss on the network test but players can still play without an issue.

    If it was 100% packet loss, you wouldn't be able to connect and navigate at all on the console.

    Please, try clearing your MAC address.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system, then Settings.

    In the General tab, select Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear.

    Restart your console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller to open the Power Center.

    Select Restart console and then select Restart.

    (If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

    Sign in to your console.

    You would not have any connection to the internet, let alone XBLive, if packet loss is 100%. Connection relies on the ability of packets, information data blocks, for lack of a better term, to recognise and acknowledge the data has been sent and received
    correctly, ie no corruption.

    Edit.. Data showing 100% packet loss has to be a result of local internal corruption of the processors, and would require a restart.

    NAT stuck on strict saying UPNP not successful with DMZ and UPNP enabled

    I have put the console in the DMZ zone after making the console IP static, I then port triggered all of those ports, then turned my UPnP off and on, then disabled the firewall on my internet. None of that worked though, it still says my NAT is strict and that my UPnP is unsuccessful.
