You are mistaking team chat for INGAME chat and party chat

Team chat is o ly your players in your team in your room

Party chat can be anyone you.can invite into.your party

In-game.chat is everyone in the session

One uses.a.in-game.chat whenever text or.voice. Whichever software the developer uses and party chat is.xbox network

You can't use xbox party chat to.talk to.in-game Diablo 4 on pc or console you are using .battlenet when using their channels.

What does it matter if it's different companies. Just keep the ability to talk in game and party at same time. You have ability to mute yourself or others in game.
