: Xbox internet isssues

For this type of issue, the possible solutions are:

1) Switch off and restart the router

2) Assign a
static IP to the console

3) Verify that the
ports on the router are open

Also, make sure that your ISP isn't blocking or throttling anything to do with your XBOX. You would be surprised how many times that happens.

hi, I think you need to do some port forwarding.check if your nat type is open.

The issues you are having maybe from one or more of these

1. Firewall on your router.

2. You are connected Wireless instead of using an Ethernet Cable.

3. Someone else in your home is downloading or is on the internet and is using alot of your bandwith.

4. Change of your device (xbox) IP adressNote:

If you goto
http://www.whatsmyip.orgIt should show you 4 sets of numbers followed by dots (example. View at bottom of paragraph). Just copy and paste the numbers as https://<IPADRESS> it will take you to your ISP providers website. From there login with your given
admin account assigned to the person whom set the the router up. Then from there just tweak/ check the numbered list above.
