    Xbox Installer Issue on Linx Vision Tablet


    Good afternoon.

    I am trying to install the Xbox Game Pass app on my Linx Vision gaming tablet, it's running the latest version of Windows 10 and has recently had all updates.

    When trying to install it I get an error that states:

    "Make sure that you're connected. Then try updating again. We weren't able to update Windows. (0x80131509)"

    Is this app able to run on my tablet?

    I am concerned as it replaces the previous app Xbox Console Companion which I've been able to stream my xbox games on my local network and play anywhere in the house.

    If I can't get this app to work then my tablet is redundant!

    Hi,

    I can't say with 100 % certainty but it's likely a computability problem with your Linx tablet.

    For a Windows 10 device the Linx is really basic. Weak Intel Atom x5-Z8300 and only 2GB RAM. Also your version of Windows 10 is only 32-bit.

    There are hundreds of types of PCs and its asking a lot if not the impossible for Microsoft to support all of them.

    Are you sure you're running the latest version of Windows 10? I find that hard to believe. The Windows 2004 update wouldn't fit on your device's limited 32GB of storage.

    On your laptop, bring up either the Windows run command (Windows Key and tap R) and search for
    Winver or via the Windows Start menu search box.

    Let me know what version of Windows 10 you have.

    Have you found anything on this I have been searching for a while now and the XBOX app in the store won't install either. I'm at a loss and getting annoyed now. 😑

    Nope nothing, I've searched for hours and hours, on multiple different websites and forums.

    I take it you're trying to install on a Linx tablet?!

    It's really annoying, the app is no longer beta so I'd imagine it should install without a hitch but maybe for some reason it's not compatible with this Windows tablet.

    If I get anywhere I'll let you know.
