    Xbox Installer (Beta) not installing


    Hi

    I've downloaded the xbox installer onto my computer. Every time I open it up to install it, says "xboxinstaller has stopped working", and won't go beyond the green xbox sceen. (image attached)

    Does anyone know what is going on? I've got the latest windows update.

    I've tried using my wife's surface laptop, and it downloads fine. But for some reason, it doens't on my ASUS laptop.

    Hey,

    That's Windows 8 correct? I think this might be a Windows 8 issue. Contact
    Xbox Support     to notify them about this, saw someone on Twitter say the exact same thing.

    How did you get Xbox beta to install? The reason why I ask is because when I run the installer for Xbox beta it hangs. Maybe I already have it installed? The reason why I ask that is because when I open the Xbox app as I look to the left side bar it states
    "beta".
