    Xbox Insiders Fix For Console Not Working


    Hello everyone, I have been locked out of my account and my xbox. I was in the Insiders Program, and all of a sudden I started an update, and my Xbox just stopped working. I tried everything to get it to start again, and then found the solution which was to press the eject button when turning on the xbox and it would bring up the reset xbox feature. That worked temporarily, but now the reset xbox won't work. I tried using the hard drive options, but found out that those don't work for people in the Xbox Insider Program. Is there any fix now?? I hear many people have this problem. I don't want to buy a new hard drive. I can't afford that. If there is any fix please say so. Thanks!

    Can you please confirm if you are in the Xbox Insider program? If you are in the insider program this is a known issue and is also affecting the Store tab on the console, The Insider team are working on a fix for the issue.

    Hello Master, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your console.

    Xbox is aware of the issues with HDMI-CEC and are working on a fix although no date of when it will be fixed has been given. In the meantime, if you're in the Xbox Insider program I'd recommend reporting the issue using the console's Report a Bug feature

    OSU1 may update needed

    The easiest way to get your console working after a failed Insider preview update is to Factory reset (keeping games and apps). Factory reset (delete everything) if keeping games and apps reset doesn't fix it.

    An Offline System Update using OSU1 will NEVER work on a console enrolled in a Insider preview.

    The Reddit Xbox Insider forum has all the information and FAQ links that are worthwhile reading.

    Check System update solution and take note of the Insider section.
