    Xbox Insider - Update Required loop error on PC


    Hi,

    I am trying to buy the premium bundle for Forza Horizon 5. It looks like to do this I have to install the Xbox Insider Hub. I did that but it keeps coming saying "Update Required". I click to install updates but it just closes and comes back up with "Update Required". I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled it but getting the same thing over and over.



    I'm on Windows 10 with all updates installed. Please help.

    Hi, I am Bella and yes one of Xbox friend is getting error codes after the last update. Also, there have a been a few threads regarding this issue. She is in the insider program as well. You can follow the Insider Program on Twitter and it provides information
    regarding issues due to the updates. I recommend giving them a follow so you can be kept in loop.

    Seems it happened on a insider update. Are you a memeber of the insider ring?

    I found one suggestion like this :

    Try downloading the XBOX Insider Hub App on a Windows10 PC. Within the app, go to Settings -> Manage Devices. Here you can remove your XBOX from the preview program. After I did that my reset continued without requiring the update that was causing
    all the issues and my XBOX is back up and working.

    Are you in the insiders program by chance? It may be a bug and you should report it. I would also check to make sure there are no more required updates for the PC or Xbox companion app

    I can’t find a fix to allow me to play Minecraft. Can any one help?

    This was very helpful, I was having the same issue with my child's account. The error inside Minecraft really should state the gold requirement specifically. The PC Bedrock doesn't require gold which was confusing.
