Xbox Insider update and Steam Games

Same here, I have ultimate and use the Xbox app for pc to play halo as well as an Xbox insider subscribed to windows gaming program. Am i screwed since I don't have it on steam.

Reformatted NTFS, SSD is installed inside a ROG STRIX Arion SSD case via usb-c to usb-c connection, steam will allow games to save there as well just not Xbox for some reason.

Just to double check, is your Steam account connected to your Microsoft account?

Open game bar (Windows key + G) > Settings > Accounts > if yes, please unlink it temporarily. After that do the previous, but only the reset and repair thing with these apps:

Game Bar, Xbox App, Sea of thieves app.

Restart your PC, open game bar again and link your steam account. And finally try again .

By the way, the play option (the ones that redirect you to Steam) is the one inside the Xbox PC app?

If your game is from game pass, unfortunately you cannot edit any file inside the directory. But this is about to change, Microsoft will soon update this feature, and will enable full access to the directory of the Game Pass games, like it is on Steam games.

Thanks for the update, usually games detect your dedicated GPU and use that instead.

May I know if you already double checked this inside GTA V? (Are you using the steam or Rockstar launcher version?)

And, did you try checking your PC temperature?
Sometimes when the processor and all components are stressed, the performance is worse
