    Hello,

    I just recently bought a used xbox one x console from a third party and am having issues. I started the Xbox up and am being shown a start up error "System Error: E106". I just got the xbox back from a repair shop because of this error and they said it is
    caused because my xbox is part of the insider program and the only way to fix it is wait for the new xbox update to be released to the public. My question is: since I bought this xbox used, I am not the one who enrolled the system in the insider program, and
    I can not unenroll the console myself since my account is not the one that activated this. Is there anyway to have my xbox removed by the Microsoft team? I have the Xbox in hand and have the serial number and any other information that may be needed. Please

    Want to quit insider program

    Hi there.

    If you'd like to stop participating in the Insider Preview program, you'll want to refer to the

    Xbox Insider Program FAQ     under "I sold my console or no longer wish to participate as an Xbox Insider. How can I stop participating in the Xbox Insider Program?"

    It can take some time for you to be removed from the program as you may need to wait for another Insider Program update in order to stop participating.
