Xbox Insider Program Permission Under 18

You can check the Xbox Insider Program which will bring our Xbox fans to get early access to new games and features, join playtests with developers, and provide feedback to help shape the future of Xbox. You can join the program by installing the Xbox Insider Hub app on your console or PC. However, to join the program, you must be at least 18 years old to join the Xbox Insider Program. If you are under 18, you can still participate in the program with a parent or guardian’s permission, but you will not be able to access some features or content that are restricted by age. That error message is one we generally see when an account under the age of 18 attempts to purchase content that is age restricted. This can be due to the game rating or publisher request. If you are under the age of 18 and are unable to make the purchase,
the only way to access or play the game is to have your parent account purchase the game on your Xbox One and use the home console sharing. Or, you can have your parent account give you permission to purchase the content on the Xbox 360 content as outlined
in the
360 marketplace purchasing guide.

No im under 18, im a child. We called xbox support and thebguy told me and my mum to go on the forums. Because Im under 18 its asking for my mum to give permission.

You have to be 18 or older to use xbox insider- if the age registered on the account is under 18, it isn't allowed access.

You'd have to check the official terms and conditions of the sweepstakes you'd want to enter to see if it lists any age requirement. For some of them, they're open to all reward members, but anyone under 18 would need a parent's permission to be part of the program.
