    Xbox Insider OSU, Is there a way I can download the 2002.200211-1645 update manually?


    A couple of days ago I turned on my Xbox and I was greeted with a new update. Process went as normal and proceeded to open RDR2. An error was displayed stating that the save games were corrupted and would have to delete and re download them.

    After this my Xbox gets stuck in an error screen and won't boot. I am confident I can fix the issue if I was able to download the matching OS and try to reinstall it from a USB stick, however the only OSU available version is the public version.

    I took my console out of the Xbox Insider program using the insider app on windows hoping that it could perhaps trigger another update but it was a long shot specially when the console won't boot.

    I could wait a couple of months until the public version reaches the 2002.200211-1645 OSU but I rather speed things up.

    Its an Xbox One X in case that matters.

    Appreciate all the help you guys can provide me.

    This version is still Beta, Delta, or Omega OS preview, so the console is enrolled in the Insiders.

    Ok what are you running the insiders program if so then you cant use the osu

    That is onlybe for the offical updates

    Do a factory reset now before using the osu

    ONLY FOR INSIDERS PROGRAM

    Use a windows 10 pc or laptop

    Download the insiders program abd unenroll then runconnect to live this will download the offical update then yku can reenroll

    Do NOT do this if you arent in the insiders program

    This will not hrlp withnom members

    Are you in the Insiders? If so the update is req. I assume offline update is OSU which should not be used if you're an Insider.

    Try a factory reset again and download the update.

    Keep in mind that you must unenroll the console from Insider preview before attempting an offline system update (OSU).

    I haven't seen any reference that OSU's can be attempted by Insiders, but I will check again.

    Besides, after you successfully install an OSU, it will check online for the latest General Availability XBOX OS and update if required. You can't roll back a system update to a older version of the OS.
