Xbox Insider - Invited Beta not showing in Hub

Hey, thanks for taking the time to check out my query, its a long shot but thought I would ask here to see if anyone can assist.

I was invited into the Rust Beta last week and received my email invitation, i was over the moon as been monitoring this game for a very long time and was surprised to hear this was coming to Xbox. I followed the instructions and registered the Discord and re-download the new Xbox Insider Hub (i was originally a member but had not used since upgrading to the new xbox). The Xbox Insider does not show Rust as an option to join and thus can not download the client.

I have also raised a helpdesk support ticket with Double 11 (makers of Rust console) as i suspect its an issue on their end. I have also tried several internet searches but cant find any information online.

No! Ticket remains open and I’ve chased for an update. Looking at the Rust Beta Discord there seems to be lots of people in the same situation and I’ve kinda given up now as only one more week left.

Good news is the game should be released in the Spring so not too long to wait.

If you open the insider's hub there does it show that you are in beta or not?

For those that are 100 percent sure they are signed into the hub using the right gamertag (the one that has Technical alpha access, like is showing in the the first screenshot listed) : some people were sent invites to the wrong platform, so they were sent
Win 10 invite emails, but it actually was an xbox invite or vice versa. I would check on your xbox (if you have one) to see if it is showing on the xbox, in its insider hub.

I would also make sure you have the most up to date version of the insider hub, You try completely logging out of all Xbox and MS apps and websites, and try logging back into the insider app. Rebooting the PC of course as well.

Hi,

you can change rings in the xbox insider hub when yo manage the xbox update preview rings note that alpha and alpha skip ahead are invite only but you should be able to join the beta ring
