    I've been getting this error since I've started trying to sign in on it.

    The exact error I've gotten is "Unspecified error (Excep_FromHResult 0x80004005) (0x80004005)"

    I've read several posts where people claim that MSFT fixed it, but it has never worked for me.

    I'm running Windows 10, original, with the latest updates. At first I thought it might have been an issue with my account, since I was logged into Windows 10 with a local account, but I've switched to my MSFT account and it still throws that error back at
    me.

    Is there any way to fix this?

    When pressing the login button, xbox insider hub gives the following error:

    There's a problem

    Unspecified error (Excep_FromHResult 0x80004005) (0x80004005)

  3. can't connect at xbox insider hub on my windows 10 PC

    hi,

    Every time I try to login at my xbox insider hub ,i get the following message;

    Any suggestions would be most welcome

    even when i desinstall and reinstall it.. always the same error message

  5. Performed all 3 of these steps, but the issue persists.

    Ran the troubleshooter, it reset the Windows Store. Checked for updates, there were none, and I've also reset the Xbox App settings, but the second I click on "Sign In", the error message pops up.

    I've always had an issue with this application. Can't remember what old game required it too, and I had to stop playing it because the Xbox app wouldn't work back then either, and I'm talking like 2 computers ago, on Windows 7. So it might be a problem with
    my account.

    Open PowerShell as Admin and type this command in and problem solved here! Thanks so much!

    Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

    Ok so I originally removed the store from windows, I did this to re install it:

    Get-AppxPackage windowsstore | Remove-AppxPackage

    Get-AppxPackage xboxapp | Remove-AppxPackage

    Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

    Then I upgraded to Windows 10 Fall Creators and now everything works fine.
