    Xbox Insider Hub App for Windows 10 Troubleshooting


    I'm installing the app for the first time and immediately ran in to problems. The main issue is it is saying I'm not connected to the internet. I've been searching for fixes and the fixes are at least from a year ago.

    I've tried resetting the app, reinstalling the app, making sure Windows Updates is set to automatic, checking the time and date is set to automatic. I tried executing some copy and paste commands through powershell and the command prompt. Made sure my firewall isn't blocking the app. I've also deleted some known recent Windows security update that was said to cause problems for the app and nothing has worked so far.

    I haven't uninstalled any other xbox apps from my Windows machine, not that I remember. I have read something about the app does need 3 components to work, but I'm not sure what they are.

    I can see people are using the app, so I know it works. So I'm hoping someone can step me through some more recent fixes that might work.

    You will need to own the digital version of the game. For the beta, disc owners are not supported - sorry!

    Joining the Minecraft Beta on Windows 10 or Xbox One:

    1. Go to the Store app on Xbox One or a Windows 10 PC.

    2. Search for the Xbox Insider Hub app.

    3. Download and install Xbox Insider Hub.

    4. Launch the Xbox Insider Hub.

    5. Navigate to Insider content > Minecraft Beta.

    6. Select Join.

    7. Have fun and find bugs!

    I'm on xbox one, as per my post. Windows 10 troubleshooting doesn't really work the same unfortunately. Side note insider hub also will not reinstall.
