    Xbox Insider Help Needed unable to access game beta testing


    My son has been invited to the Halo 3 ODST flight on Xbox One. Before this we enrolled his account as a Halo Insider on Halo Waypoint and all seemed good. He was very excited when he got the invite only to be immediately disappointed when he opened up the Insider Hub App on his Xbox and it said that the account was under 18, that he was unable to be an Xbox Insider and that an adult was required to accept the terms. We exited out, I logged in with my adult account and obviously the flight wasn’t there. I can’t promote him to an adult since he isn’t actually one and therefore Xbox doesn’t allow me to. Currently, my son is unable to join the flight that he has been invited to. I have looked all over for a solution to this and the only related instructions I found are cryptic and don’t do what I want. Help would really be appreciated as my son was so happy when he was invited and I want to see that again for Halo. Thanks in advance.

    What worked for me was to leave the beta testing program from the Insiders hub and then reinstall the game. My girlfriend just needed to update it after leaving. Do check the Insiders Hub to see if you're participating in the beta testing, still.

    He is probably on the Xbox insider test, that means he have a beta of the new version being developed, you would have to be in Xbox to have the same option, or he would need to be out of the insider beta

    Not all Insiders have access to not requiring gold for f2p games at the moment.Only Alpha/Alpha skip ahead & Beta rings are testing it.If you are not in any of those rings then you will still need a gold sub at the moment.
