Xbox Insider Fried Two Hardrives Of Mine

ok thanks I was thinking about transfering music or videos or pictures from PC. Is that do able?

the hardrive that comes with the 500 gb xbox 360 is that inside or attachable?

cause i have a external hardrive that holds 30 gb that i connected to my old xbox 360. Can that connect to new xbox 360?

how would you move the 500 gb hardrive to a new console i assume its inside?

assuming i get red ring of death.

I think the best thing to do then is get games on the 500 gb part and use external for game saves?

We didn't install any hardrive. The storage of the Xbox (the original one inside the xbox to which we don't have access) is the one that disapeared. We can still use USB sticks, and I guess we could use any external hardrive. But the original storage
of the Xbox has disapeared...

i just returned my xbox for the 250 gb one im thinking its the hardrive cause mine works perfect now

Do not use third Party Content for Xbox Hardrives (USB Are ok but might not meet xbox standards which will be stated when you format it to be used on the console itself) You have the biggest Hardrive possible and might have to do one of two options because
switching hardrives wont work simply because you cant have your game profile on two different hardrives.

A) Delete some Date off your current Hardrive IE Demo's, Music. Games you have beaten and barely play

2) If you have a smaller then 32 Usb drive then get them maxed out though this is only temporary because most on demand games are above 4 gigs of Data.

3) Move your gamer profile to a USB drive then use the hardrive swap technique but that is iffy because the hardrives probally arent meant to swap out on a regulaur basis.

Mine didnt show anything at all I had to send it for repairs since it fried the display chip
