    XBOX insider bricked my console beware!


    My Xbox One X console was working flawlessly until august 7th, One month after my warranty expired. Then the trouble started once i updated insider beta, console would fail start up E200,E101,E201 error which indicate a hardware issue according to MS so I then had to follow the the troubleshooting guide which included an offline update unfortunately that did not work. I Contacted Microsoft only to find they wanted me to pay for repairs over $350 dollars us which seemed ridiculous since I had no warranty left and they where not allowing a extension so I paid. A few days later I came to my senses an cancelled i would not put up with with this bullying MS should account d For Dev update fails and release an adequate fix. Not sure what to do next buy a standard S or move to Sony. Has anybody else experienced this?

    Xbox 360S power brick fan/whirring

    It's the new power supply that comes with the slim xbox's they are louder than the console because now there is a fan inside the brick and can be quite annoying because i install my games to HDD so the console is dead quiet but can still hear the brick fan.

    Downgraded updates and OSU will not work my firmware is the most current version of the Insider Alpha Release... thanks.

    Awesome. This was Microsoft's Xbox support solution to my problem. We can't help you, post in the forums for the insider ring for support from our insider support... Cool. Glad to have a day of wasted live and time with a console that shouldn't just
    brick because it can.

    i have seen many people in the Insider Program has had their Xbox bricking on them. I’ve had minor issues where I have had to just restart my console but just now my console has fully bricked. This has happened on multiple consoles of mine and I just purchased
    a Xbox one x around 6 months ago. I have reset my console to factory settings and I am highly disappointed. Has anyone else’s having these problems this far into 2018?
    I never had an issue being in the alpha ring of the insider program for years with my Xbox One. Since I got my Xbox One X in Feb...I have had to do 3 or 4 factory resets. One of them needing to be a complete reset (deleting all of my games and apps). Thankfully
    all of my games are on an external hard drive so they didn't need to be reinstalled like the apps on my internal did.

    So in my opinion...upgrading to an X makes the insider program a much more risky venture than just having a standard Xbox One.

    Any problems you are having with the insider program should be directed to the the insider support group so they are aware of what is going on and those issues can be addressed.
