Xbox Insider Alpha preview issues (Destiny)

I have been unable to login to Destiny since 2/18 and its now 2/20. It seem the issue is with the Xbox Insiders Alpha preview.

If anybody has a work around till a patch or the next update is release, could you please share?

Preview Ring 4, saying Preview Alpha:Time to Update

Hey, I'm in Preview Ring 4 of the Xbox Insider Program, but my announcements page says "Preview Alpha: Time to update". Is this an issue or am I now in Preview Alpha ring? Thanks!

 

apparently dropping the alpha is it right now as far as i can find anyway

I was told by xbox via twitter that opting out of the preview team would not fix the issue because one would still have to wait for the next update.

But if there is someone that is a part of the alpha preview and has opted out and this
actually worked for them, please let us know.

 

I have the same problem and nothing work's I even delete my system back to factory

 

According to Brad's post on Twitter a fix should be released sometime this afternoon or evening.

 

We can only hope. This will be the first time I've had any MAJOR issues being a part of the preview team. This one incident has made me rethink being in the group of people first in line to preview upcoming builds.

Not sure its worth it. I totally understand the purpose of being in the preview (help find bugs and similar things) but situations like this seem to do more harm than good. If they are not resolved in a timely manner.

IMO, a week is to a timely manner.

 

I had a friend, Chachi880 exit the preview program two days ago and last night me and him were able to play together last night.

 

I'm in Alpha also.

Here's what I did! Resolved the issue.

I had the same problem yesterday. I had to do a soft reset. Hold the Xbox Guide button on the console for 10 seconds, Do not let go for 10 seconds. Then wait about 20 seconds, then restart normal. I believe Destiny should come to life again. I tried and
tried to play Destiny yesterday and wasn't not able to till I did this. Console message told me after inserting the disc and trying to play the game, that I needed to purchase the game Everything was installed fine, I owned the game since day one on the disc
and DLC. After the reset, I received a 10 MB download from Destiny directly.

Then it worked fine!
