Have you tried a hard reset of the console? hold down the power button for 10 seconds or until the console turns off, then turn the console back on and try the game again. I have had this issue before and that resolved the issue.

Since you're trying to play the Bedrock Edition, try to uninstall the launcher and simply download the Minecraft game through the Microsoft Store.

If that didn't work, try to repair/reset the Microsoft Store and Xbox app.
