    Xbox - Home Xbox


    I just found out that there is a limit on how many times you can change your ‘home xbox’. My daughter spends summer days with her grandmother and we bought an Xbox so she (daughter) could play her games. I did not understand that there was any limits
    on switching between the two. Is there any way to reset so we can get my Xbox mine and grandma’s hers?

    Home/Guest Consoles

    Hello! By second guest, you mean setting a second Xbox (Xbox C) to your home Xbox (Xbox A), then you cannot.

    If this helps at all:

    If Xbox B has Xbox A set as their Home Console, only Xbox B can be set as Home Console. Attempting to set Xbox C to Xbox A's home console will set it to the Home Console, but Xbox B will lose its home console access.

    If his acount is signed in on your xbox and you go to the personalization page in settings and go to home xbox and it says to make this my home xbox that means your xbox is not his profiles home xbox and that would mean his account was signed in on another
    xbox and that xbox was made his home profiles home xbox.

    verify if your account is as your home xbox:

    Just go to settings, then personalization, then my home xbox.

    See if says add as my home xbox or remove as my home xbox.

    hey , i don't have any other xbox at my home xbox , but when a go to my home xbox in my profile , it tells me Can't make this your home Xbox , you can have one Xbox home at a time ........... , but i don't have another xbox as my home xbox ??

    Does Reset and Keep My Games & Apps also keep Home Association?

    The only way the Home association is changed is if you sign into another Console and make that your home Xbox.

    Even if you were to go in and disassociate your current home xbox as your home xbox and do not make another console your home xbox and go back in and make that same xbox your home xbox it will not count as one of your switches.
