xbox home sharing not letting other account play online

• Could you double-check that your console is indeed designated as your brother's Home Xbox? To do so:

- Have him sign in to his account on your console.
- While on his account, go to Settings > General > Personalization > My Home Xbox.
- The box for "Make this my Home Xbox" should be checked.

• If the box for "Make this my Home Xbox" is checked for his account, please try power-cycling your console, like this:

- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Unplug the console's power cord for 5 minutes. If you have the original Xbox One, you'll have to unplug the power supply unit from both the console and the outlet.
- Turn your modem/router off and unplug them for 5 minutes.
- Plug everything back together and check if the issues persist.

Do you mean via cloud or EA play or ubisoft games if so those are subscriber perks only

he has active subscription to Xbox ultimate and yea im being prompted with a choose a subscription plan

- May I ask what happens when you try to play games online? are you being prompted to choose a subscription plan?

- Could you ask your brother to double-check that the account he used to designate your console as Home Xbox has an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate? he should be able to see this by signing in to his Microsoft Account at: https://account.microsoft.com/services
