Xbox Home Screen: Server Availability check

So I’m trying to play a game, and it doesn’t connect me to the servers for the game. So I had an idea, instead of wasting time going into the game and being refused connectivity. Why not on the home screen where you can launch the game there be
server information for the game, like a little “Game servers: Up/down” or “Multiplayer Servers: Connected/Disconnected”

I know it’s not a terribly Big des but I feel like if that was added on Xbox it would be one of the little things that’s just nice to have and makes choosing games to play a tad bit easier.

March Update: Home button sucks

Is it just me? The march/spring updated the home button function to open a disappointing task bar on the left side of the screen. I appreciate the availability of recent apps, however I absolutely despise that I have now lost the satisfyingly brisk availability
of the home screen. You now need to press the home button, scroll to the home tab on the task bar, and finally return to your sadly bland home screen that lacks the satisfying image of your game that's you just exited (which is another complaint of mine).
If the Xbox-update team could provide an option to toggle the new and old setting, I am sure there would be a large portion of loyal players that would be ever grateful.

 

That would be something for the game developers themselves to add to a games menu, as game servers being down is not an XBL problem.
