Xbox home screen freezes/won't load up properly

Discus and support Xbox home screen freezes/won't load up properly in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I don't know. I've tried everything restarting unplugging etc. But it still won't work.     Xbox home screen freezes/won't load up properly


    I don't know. I've tried everything restarting unplugging etc. But it still won't work. It take a long time to even load into the home screen then just freezes. You can hear it as if it is working when you try scrolling and even dims when you push the home button but it doesn't actually show on scream it doing it. Then when you click onto whatever application it thinks it's on the screen goes black. Any ideas how to fix this I've had this console for years (like since the Xbox one was released) and I can't afford another at this time.

    Anyone else is having this problem sees my form I did have to choose the erase everything option for it to work but it was worth it. It didn't exactly erase everything either it only erased all the apps and account/profile settings, but it kept all my games.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Hi thanks for the advice but I have tried restarting and it dosent work and I can't get to settings because it is frozen
