Xbox home per year.

I was wondering about the time limit on the xbox home. If I set my xbox as my home 3 times already, would I wait until January or 1 year after the last one?

If you have already used your limit of home console changes then you will have to wait 1 year from the time you used the first home xbox change before you can do it again.

The home Xbox change limit was changed to 5 per year. Unless you are sharing your home console with your neighbors (which is against the code of conduct) then 5 changes per year is more than enough.

you can only reser your home xbox 5 times per year, ujfortunatley there is no way to had more home changes

 

The way I read this is you can change it 3 times within a year period starting with the date of the first change. If someone else has better information please let us know.

You can change which console is your home Xbox up to three times during a one-year period. When you change home consoles, all device licenses for digital content will move to your new home Xbox. These device licenses will no longer be available on your old
"home" Xbox.

 

It's three changes in a rolling 365-day period. So, if you've used all three changes in the last year, another change will become available 365 days after the first of the three changes you made.

 

Is there a way to check your remaining time to switch homes?

 

Unfortunately no. So be careful when you do it.

 

Is there anyway to change it? Like on microsofts part?

 

Nope just don't do something you shouldn't be doing like sharing games with the neghbourhood

You can call support but they are under no obligation to reset it for you
