xbox home console doesn't activate. "Unable to save your changes, try again later"

Thank you for reaching out. We understand you are having a bit of trouble with the home console setting on one of your accounts. If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try

removing and re-adding your account by doing the following:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > Account
   > Remove accounts.
3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.
   
4. When you're finished, select Close.

Additionally, you can try the
factory reset variant which allows you to keep your games and apps. Let us know how it goes and if you are still unable to set your home console, be sure to provide the troubleshooting you have attempted as well as any codes you may receive. Cheers

Is the console already the home console? Is there any particular error that's displaying?

I'd try attempting a power cycle https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

This should hopefully reset everything.. if not try waiting an hour or two.

You can try restarting the console to see if that works, or you can contact support if the troubleshooting is not working for you.

I did all the troubleshooting steps. No one helps. And also I've contacted the live chat, tried all the steps they gave me, no one of the steps is helpful.

I have the same problem. when i try to activate my xbox as a home console it just pops out with a message "Can't connect to the services, try again later".
