Xbox headset mic working but volume does not?

    Xbox headset mic working but volume does not?


    Has anyone had any issues with the xbox branded wireless headset volume not working. It was working fine a little while ago and now only the mic works. I can hear sounds from it turning on or powering off. But gameplay and party chat nothing comes through.

    Does the consoles audio come through the headset or is it just the mic that is having problems?

    Does the the headset hav an inline volume control and/or mic mute button/switch?

    I cant access the volume option in settings. Wont let me select volume. Headset and mic not working.

    volume greyed out, microphone on headset now working

    From my experience with turtle beach headsets you will not see the volume sliders on the adapters or with the headset, if they have the volume controls on them. e.g. if the headset has volume and mic volume controls, you willnot see them available on
    the xbox.

    I did checked it out, and MIC is not switched OFF, to test, I have tried different headphones on ADAPTER and it works fine, but when I put XBOX headsets the mic doesnt work.
    I cant get chat r volume to work or headset

    Echo no matter what I do

    Try to lower the volume of the headset. Some headsets dont keep the sound around your ears per say and with sensitive mics the mic will pick it up. Lmk if it works good luck!
