    Xbox headset mic echo


    I have an astro 10 headset that has been working for about a year and my friends have said that they are hearing themselves echo and get louder through my mic but i cant hear anything. The problem is definitely on my end and i bought a brand new mic but
    the same problem is still happening. My tv volume is off, mic monitering is down, i have turned headset volume down, used an adaptor, turned xbox off, unplugged and replugged. Nothing is working any solutions on how i could fix this? Is it the controller?
    I recently moved the tv and xbox to a different room a bit further away from where the internet box is located but my games arent laggy and internet is fine.

    When a headset echos its usually has something to do with the headset, and sometimes the headset's volume is too loud causing the mic to pick up the headsets audio.

    Mic echo could be related to multiple variables. It could be your controller, your headset/mic setup, or even your TV volume being too loud. I would say most of the time, I would ask my friends with echo to turn down their headset master volume and they
    would be able to fix it pretty quickly. You could even just unplug and replug your headset to fix the issue. It's hard to say exactly what would cause it considering theres multiple angles to fix it. I have a HyperX Stinger headset and I rarely have a mic
    echo problem. I would also suggest to check our the reviews on your headset to see if that is a common problem.

    If you can, try a different controller, yours may have gone faulty. Your mic echoing, this solution might help

    I just got a logitech headset with a 3.5mm jack, most logitech headset have muffs around ears and a muffler on the end of mic to help prevent echo, plus I can use my headset with PC as well.
