    Xbox headset issue since updating


    I have the wireless turtle Beach stealth 600 and ever since updating my console I been having nothing but issues I have problems getting it to work in party chat I can hear myself talking I can also send voice messages just fine but it’s acting like it doesn’t recognize the headset I am using

    Xbox One Elite Controller Headset Issues

    I had a issue simular to this. I updated my elite controller with the headset adaptor and headset plugged in. I haven't had any problems since then. Are you having headset issues with standard controller or only the elite?

    Got it. I suggest that you refer to your headset manufacturer manual to update your headset firmware. Since it happens to both PC and Xbox, most likely this may be an issue with your headset's compatibility with the controller.

    Do you have another controller we could try?

    Hi Roberto,

    Since you state that you're able to use an original chat headset without issue but this one doesn't work I don't think it's an issue with your controller.

    I was looking at the setup guide for your headset -

    Since the mic can be disconnected from the headset, can you try and re-seat the mic into your headset and see if that helps?

    Check the mute button on the headset cable.

    Also, the Xbox One controller uses the same wiring standard that Android phones use. Can you plug your headset into an Android phone and test it there?
