    Xbox Headset is utterly non-functional upon delivery


    Brought the Xbox Series X Headset (Starfield edition- what an idiot) And the thing is utter trash. If I plug it in to charge, the orange light will flash... forever. I can only assume that after two straight days of charging, it should be full about now- no? And say I try to actually use the thing? It simply won't turn on unless it's plugged to the machine. I don't know what to do, and resetting the thing has achieved nothing. It's just shoddily made.

    1. Have you tried using a different charging cable or power source to charge the headset? Sometimes, the issue could be with the charging cable or the power source.



    2. Have you tried resetting the headset to its factory settings? To do this, press and hold the power button and the mute button on the headset for 10 seconds until the LED light on the power button flashes.

    3. Can you confirm if you have tried using a different charging cable or power source to charge the headset? And have you tried resetting the headset to its factory settings?

    I'm sorry, I failed to mention that upon trying the headset to another controller it still did not function.

    I did mention that I tried that controller and headset with another console and that did not work as well.

    I'm not sure what you are talking about with the Insider Program.
