    Xbox headset defective product


    Can someone from Microsoft please help me with this issue.it seems that the Xbox wireless headsets has a defect. The plastic around the mute button has cracked and the mic is hanging by the 2 wires. Reference this post that show a lot of people has the same exact thing happen to them.     I contacted support and was able to get a return label and sent the headset back only to be told due to physical damage the headset will not be replaced and will be sent back to me. There was no physical damage done, never been dropped or misused.simply pull the mic down caused it to break like all the others in the post above. I the post someone from Microsoft was able to resolve the issue for the person that posted. I’m just trying to get the same resolution as they got.

    Even if the product is licensed by Microsoft the support is going to come from the manufacturer of that product.

    Also your first port of call when your headset went wrong should have been the shop you bought it from. As much as stores try and tell you otherwise as the seller they are responsible for defective products.
