Xbox Headphones Plastic Breaking

Hello, I’ve purchased 3 separate pairs of the wireless xbox headphones, and they have all broken in the same place. The plastic around the mic breaks at random, even if I’m not even home. This is my third pair and every time it happens it’s past the warranty, the first time my first pair broke was literally the day the warranty expired. I don’t do anything rough with my headphones, nor do I hit them or anything so I’m unsure how it’s breaking, though it may be a design flaw.

We know this might sounds cliché, but we sincerely apologize for this unfavorable event that's happening on your end.

We couldn't imagine how you're feeling right now, but as per description, the product has already ended its warranty and the best possible thing to do is to purchase a new one. Considering that the product is out of warranty, you are most likely will be declined for refund or replacement. Although, you are still free to contact live support and see if there's something they can do with the situation. That's out take away for this case.

Please scroll down and check the lower left of the page and make sure it matches your country/region.

Scroll up and check the Contact Times of the support for available hours.

Select the "Contact Us" button

Select the following drop-down menu options in the following order:
What are you having trouble with? -(xxxxxx)
What's the issue? -(xxxxxx)

The third box will ask you to describe your issue. and then select the "Next" button.

The next window will provide you with support articles based on your request and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "See contact options" button.

On the final window, you will be presented with multiple options. We suggest selecting either the "Chat online" or the "Request a call" options to speak with someone. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible.

good luck not finding a headset made out of mostly plastic. If breaking the ear piece off is a issue for you, you may not want to spend a lot. plastic can break easy.

You can actually break open the plastic case around the part that goes into the Xbox 360. They put that big plastic block there to troll you for more money. I'll take a picture of it when I get home.
