Xbox hdd shows 26.6% used but is empty

I keep my most played games on my internal 500 GB hdd on my xbox one s and lesser played games on external hdd. As im having new games for Christmas I moved all to external as I'll obviously be playing new ones most. My internal 500 gb hdd is now empty apart
from a few apps, however, my hard drive is showing 26.6% used or 267.6 gb free of 364.9 gb. So my question is what is using almost 100 gb when drive is showing empty?

Can I use the HDD of my XBOX Slim 250GB in one XBOX Slim 4GB?

The thing is, my XBOX 360 Slim 250GB is dead. I know that the HDD is removable. Can I use the HDD in the XBOX Slim 4GB?

I suppose that Slot is empty in this console.. but i wan't to know beffore I getting that one..

When connected via a Transfer Cable, the HDD shows up in System Settings, Memory, as a Transfer Cable storage device. You can Copy or Move files to and from the Transfer Cable device, but it cannot be used by games for storage, nor can it be used to install
games or run DLC.



There is a 250GB HDD for the original 360. A local GameStop, Micro Center, or Best Buy may have one used. If you buy a used HDD, test it to be sure an original XBOX title works with it. That's the best way to ensure it's fully functional.

 

Whenever you buy a hard drive (any hard drive) the amount of usable space is actually less than what is advertised because of how the space is calculated. Then you add the system files required to run the console and that date up more space.
