Xbox has no audio how do I fix this problem?

We understand that you are trying to communicate with your friends on Xbox party where you can hear them but they cannot hear you. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner for you to get back to gaming.

There could be issues with you being muted on Xbox party or else, we need to explore possibilities while we isolate the issue. Please provide us answers to the following questions:

1. May we ask for the make and model of this headset?
   
2. When did this issue happen and was this headset work fine in the past few days you were using it?
   
3. May we ask if you have issues on other games? Also, in what game this issue occurs.
   
4. May we ask what troubleshooting did you perform so far aside from using alternative Mac Address?
   
5. Can you connect your headphones in another device, will the microphone work while you create a voice record?
   
6. Will you have issues using another headphone on Xbox party?
   

Try this when you join an Xbox party:

Mic issues: If your friends can’t hear you, first make sure that your mic isn’t muted, then check in headset settings that Auto-mute is not set to High (try turning Auto-mute off). If that doesn’t fix the problem, restart both devices. You should also check to see if a firmware update is available for your headset. If that still doesn’t work, perform a hard reset of the headset.

Thanks for the reply.

We notice that the JBL Tune 710BT is recommended to be used for listening to music using your devices like phones, tablets, and laptops. However, it was not advertise to be compatible with gaming consoles. Nevertheless, you may still use this headset however, we recommend to try a headset that has a manufacturer compatibility confirmation to be useful for Xbox Consoles.

2.This issue happened a month ago and would not work for the past month whatsoever.

3. This problem would only come up in warthunder since it is the only game that I currently play.

4.I have tried taking the headphones out and plugging them back in and tried restarting my Xbox to see if that fixed it. Both options failed

5. Yes I can use the headphones on my phone and iPad.

6.yes with other headsets I have had problems with the Xbox party.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please check Windows sound settings because Windows switches the default audio output device. Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sound settings.

Under Output, make sure your headset is selected as the default device.

And then verify Wave link software settings because you are using an Elgato Wave 3, check the Wave Link software. To do this, open Wave Link and ensure your headset is properly assigned to an output channel. Make sure the Stream Mix isn’t muted.

Next is to unplug both the microphone and headset, then reconnecting them.

Then disable Windows audio enhancements because these enhancements can interfere with audio playback. Do this by opening Control Panel > Sound, select your headset, and go to Properties > Enhancements.

Check Disable all enhancements and apply the changes.

After that, kindly restart your PC. And test it out.

From what you're writing, it seems to be a random issue not dependent on a particular title or a specific solution. Hoping it's not a technical problem, I would advise you, in the first instance, to make a complete power cycle of the console.

To do this.

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for at least 10 seconds.
Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If the issue remains you shoul reset your Xbox.

Press the Xbox button to open the Guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.

You can choose between resetting and removing everything or resetting and keeping games and apps. I suggest starting with the second option first, and then perform the reset and remove everything only if the issue is not resolved by keeping games and apps.

It's important you know that "Reset and remove everything" restores the console to factory default settings. All user data, including accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all games and apps, will be deleted.
