Xbox has full solid red circle and red dot in the center when turned on.

Last night our Xbox 360 crashed. Today when turned on, it was green for a few second and then it changes to a full red circle (not separated into four different lights) surrounding a single red dot (light it usually is turning on, but red instead of green).
We have tried unplugging everything and leaving it for 30 minutes to no avail, no error code show up on screen when we turn it on.

XBOX 360 slim has a red dot in the middle of the power button.

So i turned on my xbox and it had the red dot. I unplugged it and restart but it still has the red dot but fully functional. What's wrong?

my X Box has had a red light appear a few times but it was easily solved when restarted, however, now it wont even load up. it shows the green light on for a few seconds then green goes to red.., this is not the outer circle but the dot in center that shows
red. what does this mean and how can i fix it?? It wont even send signal out to tv so im literally getting nothing?
