Xbox hard crash when Twitch is open.

I had the same issue with twitch about a month ago there is two reasons why this could be happening one your internet has too many devices connected at once or two your Xbox console is not getting enough power so if you have your Xbox plugged into an
extension cord you will need to plug it directly into the wall socket because the Xbox has a built-in surge protector for me when my Xbox crashed it was due to too many devices hope this helps my suggestion if you have multiple phones connected to internet
put a couple phones in airplane mode

Twitch works on my 360 and PC.

I've also found 3 channels that don't crash on the xbox one

twitch.tv/1337loungelive

All of these channels are ad free when watching from the PC.

When other channels crash on the xbox one, the timing of the crash seems to be about the same as timing that the ad would kick in on the PC. I suspect the crashes are related to the ads coming from Twitch's Canadian servers.

This twitch update is SO BROKEN. after the update every time i open the twitch app. something happens, no other app, no games after that can open and the xbox one wont turn off at all. The only way to reset this is to do a hard reset. THERE IS NO EXCUSE

Actually with the Xbox One Twitch app viewers can't see you navigate the dashboard, it pauses the stream when you back out of the game and they also cannot see your messages, notifications or snapped apps. If the game happens to crash, it completely stops
the stream as it seems to be directly tied to the game you're streaming and not the console itself.

I've had a lot of personal experience with the Xbox One Twitch app which is complete trash. I now use a capture card to my PC and run OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) which shows all activity on the console, like dashboard navigation and messages. Also if
the game crashes the stream continues to run.

You can also set constant keyframe intervals, bitrate and resolutions which again the Xbox One Twitch app can't do. Well I mean there are settings for a few of those things, but when you check the Twitch dashboard the app really doesn't do its job.
