Xbox hacked. Money Stolen.

Hello.
Xbox support have been woefully inept, unhelpful and totally unreliable. I have not had such a frustratingly useless experience with any other organisation in my 51 years. Since discovering a hacker had taken £179.98 from me I have rang Microsoft 'so called' Support over 9 or 10 times, only to go round in circles, I have been lied to and given false information, I have been promised call-backs and never received them - nobody at Microsoft has taken this theft seriously and nobody at Microsoft seems intelligent enough to help me resolve this criminal activity and issue a refund. Microsoft's ambivalence is staggering.

For example, take a look at Case No. [Mod removed] and [mod removed]. You will see I was finally sent an email after about 4 or 5 calls - this email had a list of questions - IP's, emails, passwords etc. I supplied all the data, however missed a couple of things. I arranged to supply these however when I came to upload the files the link sent from Microsoft didnt work. I am 96 hours on since telling the last incompetent employee this, he was supposed to call me back on Tuesday - am still waiting.

I of course contacted by bank too - As part of Paypal's investigation they have asked me to report this with Microsoft - do you see how this is stuck in a loop??????

I have given up ringing Microsoft as its starting to cause me a great deal of anxiousness - I am now reporting this matter to the Police, hopefully they might be able to help, because to be brutally honest I think this email reply is a total waste of my time too - but please PROVE ME WRONG.

Keep in mind that we do not have access to the email that was used if the email has been changed. You mentioned that you received conflicting information when you contacted support, can you please elaborate on what was suggested? I find amazing that we get no official response from Xbox on this. Just google or bing FIFA hack and aside from the number of reports you get of people being hacked and money/pts stolen, accounts locked for ridiculous amounts of time etc.... you also get
links to videos and websites advertising information on how to do these hacks

Sorry to hear it. First, what you should do is contact Paypal and let them know the account has been compromised so they can put a stop payment on everything for you and investigate the past purchases.

You should also contact phone support and open an Unauthorized Access Ticket. That will freeze the account while they investigate the claim so no more charges will be accrued as well.
