Xbox Guide Issue With Harmony Remote

I received a Harmony Elite Remote for Christmas that I use with my Xbox One S. It works really well except that once I use it, the Xbox button will no longer produce the guide that slides over. The screen dims and I can hear the guide “whoosh” sound, but
the guide itself is not there. Even if I try it with the Xbox button on a normal Xbox controller. In order to leave the app I end up having to shut the Xbox down and restart it to select another app.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Supporting numbers in the one guide

I also have a harmony one remote and I've been having the same problem. I would like to use the number keypad to go directly to a channel instead of having to skip multiple channels. Is there anyway of updating my harmony one remote to get it to work
with the Xbox One guide and the Harmony One number keypad. Thanks for any help.

Universal Remote for Xbox One

I just got my Logitech Harmony Remote to work with Xbox One. It turns on/off my tv, denon receiver, Xbox One and Scientific atlanta Cable.

I didnt think it would work but then i read this article and tried it.

Hey MeeCo777! Do these issues ever come up using just the controller? Does it occur in one specific app or across all apps and games? Post back and let us know!

Same issue here, but without the Harmony Remote. The guide button will turn on the Xbox, and holding it down gives the standard option screen for shutting down, but tapping it will not bring up the guide strip.. You get the whooshing noise and the screen
darkens a bit, but no guide.

You also can't see, or access the guide from the home screen. Normally, you could click on your profile name, and the guide would appear, bit no luck.. screen darkens, and you hear the whooshing, but that's it. Only way to clear the darkening effect is
to tap the guide button again. I can't find any way to access the guide.

The new screensaver thing where it shows images and calls out your closest achievement, and says to press Y to see it.. Pressing/holding Y, SHOULD trigger the guide, but again, it doesn't.

Netflix is the only program I can leave without rebooting the console.. and that's because there's an "exit Netflix" button in the Netflix settings.

My Channel guide and info came back today but my pause and rewind on my Microsoft media remote and also Xbox Elite controller is not working? Even tried my Harmony One remote which I have Xbox programmed in Pause and rewind does not work.
