Xbox Gold Subscription not being recognised

Recently I purchased Star Wars Battlefront II and wanted to play the multiplayer. I purchased xbox gold as the game inform me this was required, but I tried to go online and it said I still required it. So I bought it again, thinking the purchase hadn't
gone through. I bought a 1 month subscription 3 times. But the bloody gold, even though under account settings my account is listed as having Gold, aren't being registered by Battlefront, not letting me play online. So two questions

1. Can I have a refund on all of those additional purchases, given that they were unintended.

2. Why, if my account has Gold under settings, is the game not registering it, and how can I fix this

Hi

Can you please try a full console restart to see if you Gold subscription is then recognised by your console. If this did not work I would next suggest you try removing your account from the console and re load your account hopefully your subscription will
then be recognised by your cone.

this link here you should be able to confirm your current account subscriptions including the expiry date of your gold subscription.

 

Xbox live gold subscription not recognised games

Hi all,

I recently bought a 3 month Xbox live gold subscription. I redeemed the code and was notified I now had 3 months of gold.

Now my account says I have gold but when I enter into games and attempt to play online they prompt me to buy more gold memberships, when I decline I am unable to proceed playing online...

I've tried restarting the console and various different games. Same result.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
