Xbox gold subscription brought under wrong email address

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about how to attach your subscription to your correct account.

There is currently no way to move services from one account to another. This implies that you will have to, indeed,

request an Xbox subscription refund.

I hope this was able to clarify any confusion this might have caused.

Make sure that you are using the same Microsoft Account email as before.

You can go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ to check the status of your subscriptions.

If your subscription is under the cancelled category, then your Gold simply ran out.

If there is no mention of a Gold membership subscription, you accidentally used the wrong Microsoft Account email.

If you go to account.microsoft.com under subscriptions does it show your xbox gold membership there. Make sure this is the same account on your xbox, the email addresses have to match up.

Thanks. I verified that the email on the XBox One itself account and the one on the website are the same.

On the web, in the upper-right I see my gamertag () along with my email address. If I click on it and select "Subscriptions", I get taken to a page where under "XBox Live Gold" it says "Expires on 8/18/2020"

When you login to xbox.com the account information is wrong?

Go to your console and check your email address under My Xbox ->Account Information.

If the email is in correct - Recover this, junk, account onto the console then under the account information, change the email address to a new one so only one GT is link to that email.
