    Xbox Gold Live Pre-Paid Card Problem


    Hello Gamers,

    I have a problem and would like some assistance to any who are willing to spear me your time and words.

    I went to GameStop and bought a 3 month Xbox Live Gold subscription. And they also gave me another 3 months on the receipt for a deal. I put in the codes that they said and it said I have 6 months until it de activate.

    The problem?

    The problem is that even though it says it’s activated and it says “Subscribed” for 6 months I still can’t invite friends to parties. The only thing I saw was a hazard symbol (A “!” inside a triangle) under amount subscribed. I can’t do anything! I looked
    it up and it says it’s the pre-paid cards. The only solution I thought that was probable was to delete; then, put my account back on, but that didn’t do anything.

    Can any of your gamers or Xbox Support staff help me out with this situation?

    Can you use pre-paid visa or master cards to buy xbox live gold memberships from the dashboard? I don't want to get a credit or debit card and I don't wanna use a pre-paid card to buy an xbox live pre-paid gold card at a store like Wal-Mart. If so then which

    Xbox Live Gold has only ever been able to be purchased with a credit card/pay pal or with pre-paid Gold subscription cards.
