xbox gold can’t share with family

Thanks for your replies, it has explained everything, so I have an Xbox with live gold which we can play on, but can’t family share the gold account as it is signed to another profile as Xbox home.

So I need to buy gold.

Thank you. You can only set one home console at a time.

First, establish the console you wanted to set as home. Just ensure not to set other consoles as home.

Now, sign in on the home console using the account that has the subscription. Then, go to Settings >General > Personalization > My home Xbox and see if how many switches are left.

If you have plenty, try to remove this as my Home Xbox and try making it as your home again.

Sorry to hear about that, however, let the user try signing out and signing in again on the console by following these steps:

Ensure that you know your Microsoft account and password before doing so and your console is connected to the internet.

-Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

-Profile & System > Settings > Account > Remove account

-Select the account that you want to remove, and then select "Remove" to confirm.

-Once done, select Close.

Then, you can restart your console > long-press Xbox button on the controller > Restart

Lastly, sign in to your account again by:

-Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

-Go to Sign in > Add new

Ok i tried this and it didn’t work so i tried making a different xbox my home xbox and now only the account with gold is the one with the subscription. I tried to remove and add the accounts to the family but that didn’t work either. Any more suggestions that could help? I don’t get why the xbox live won’t share with them.

My family has 3 xbox consoles and I used to be able to share xbox live but it doesn’t work anymore
