Xbox Gold automatic billing.

If your gold ran out yesterday are you still able to play online or start a party? These are the main things that require gold.

If not then your Gold is still not active.

You can check for sure by either going to account.microsoft.com/services or going on your console to the settings and under the account tab going to subscriptions and it will tell you if your account is
still active.

Now if it is not active you can not use MS gift card money to purchase a gold subscription unless you go directly to Gold
Subscription cards and purchase a gold digital code and then you would get a new 25 digit code for a gold subscription to put in.

I actually came from there, it says that the only way to get help about automatic billing is to ask for it in here.

Not clear if the auto renew kicked in or not from your message. If that is the case, you may have ended up in a past due balance situation. In that case you cannot use prepaid codes to settle it. More info

Have you been able to enter your code and get it to work yet?

If not, I had a similar issue last year where I wanted to renew my X-Box Live with a new Credit Card but it would not work. It kept creating an error. I tried PayPal and even a code, I ended up having to go through the support line and they did something
with my account there that fixed it. I don't remember what the error was, just she was going to reset something on it.

After that the code I had worked. I've since switched it back to credit card with no issues.
