Xbox Gift Card Serial Number Location?

I was talking with xbox support yesterday about trying to redeem a gift card but I get a message saying the card hasn't been activated return to merchant. Waited twenty four hours tried the code again, tried to get the store to activate it. Said it was
microsoft's problem. Anyways customer support wanted to know the cards serial number. It starts with SN then about twelve digits. I couldn't find anything like that. So does anybody know where it might be located? I've tried the large set of numbers right
under the bar code and that's not it. Then there are two more sets of numbers under that but neither start with SN. The only other thing with numbers and letters is the redemption code. Hopefully someone can answer this question before 10 am eastern time
when customer support is supposed to call for a check up. Thanks in advance.

The problem is of the merchant, and he who has to activate the code in the cashier.

I bought two gift cards from the store at the same time. One worked the other didn't. My proof of purchase shows I bought two gift cards. The manager said once the cards leave the store its no longer their responsibility. If a code dosen't work thats
the company who owns the cards problem. I tried to explain for ten minutes or so how the code did work just that the card needed to be rescaned. Xbox support is friendly and easier to talk to. They don't tell you basically you just lost $25 to your face.
And yes that was an actual response from the store when I went back in person.

I went up to the walmart again just now. I talked with different people this time. They tried to activate the gift card but couldn't. So I ended up getting a refund and a replacement gift card. Which is funny because the person I talked to yesterday
said no refund and you basically just lost your money. And on a side note that same rude employee was in the background watching the whole thing. 😁

It's the stores issue. When you purchase a gift card, it's activated at the till usually, so I would head back to the store with proof of purchase, and be insistent.

It is possible, that they mentioned the number that is on the right or under the barcode.

If you purchased the code at a retailer I would recommend to contact them. You could also check the bill from them. Maybe there is a serial number on it.
