Xbox gift card redeem issue - no receipt

I received several gift cards for Christmas last year, and one that I was just going to use today I am now noticing requires the code printed on the receipt. There is no scratch off on the back. The person I received the gift card from did not know that
and does not have that receipt all these months later. Is there anyway I am able to get this card activated so I can use it? Thanks

Hello sorry to say I dont think this would be possible at all. If the store was able to reprint they would need EXACT date and time that that transaction took place. I pretty sure it was over millions of people who have made purchases after that. Sorry

The person who bought it could try contacting the retailer they bought it from to see if they can get the receipt re-printed, but almost a year later, it may not be possible.

Thank you for your post. If a code you have received is under 25 digits it is not an official Xbox code. Please check the instructions on your receipt for steps on how to redeem your code. For more information check out this article:

Story to hear you lost your receipt and cannot redeem your card, please remember jumping over to playstation wouldn't fair any better as with all cards now days you need to keep the receipt whichever platform you decide to buy a gift cards with.

I was specifically told by xbox support to post it here and Rockstar would be in contact with me.

And on my receipt it specifically says:

Special note for digital gift card customers: You can cancel your gift card order and receive a refund up to 14 days after your digital gift card has been sent or until your gift card has been redeemed, whichever occurs first.
