Xbox gift card on amazon.com

Hello,

i have some balance on my amazon account and id like to purchase a microsoft gift card.

the only thing i am finding on amazons web site is xbox gift cards.

are these the same thing ? The cards im seeing on amazon show that they can be used for microsoft store purchases so im not sure.

They're pretty much the same, when you redeem the gift card the balance gets added to your Microsoft account for usage.

Amazon.com seems to be the only online retailer that sells Xbox Gift cards with "Online Game Code" digital download. No physical code has to be mailed.

But there are no retailers that sell digital codes in Canada.

This is why I preferred buying points on Xbox.com. Because it was 100% online. No physical cards.

Sorry to tell you but prepaid gift cards cannot be used for payment. If I were you, I would go to amazon.com and buy points cards. They give you the code instantly after purchase.

The system wont accept gift cards as a form of payment. I tried myself yesterday. I would go ahead and buy some prepaid cards from amazon.com. They give the codes instantly after purchase.

You cant gift games to others. The best option woud be to buy point cards which total the value of the game and give him the codes for the cards. If you go to amazon.com they give out codes instantly after buying the point cards
