    Hi, I have original Xbox one which is of course only capable of 1080P, I also have a TV that has max resolution of 1080P, so when I play these new games that are made for Xbox Series X what happens to a game? Do they get scaled down to 1080P? When you go to game stop and buy a game they only have one version and they all say HDR 4K, exc, and they play fine on my original xbox one but I was just wondering if they display in 1080P in my case

    Depending on the model of Xbox it may scale up to 1080 P, but your output resolution is your output resolution scales up or down
