Xbox games on my laptop.

I am trying to play ark survival on my laptop. It works fine but to boot the game up I have to be connected to the internet. It's fine offline after wards so long as the game is never closed but it requiers to be loged in to xbox live account. I travel
lot and would like to be able to boot it up when I dont have internet access. Anyone able to help.

Yeah, I open the game on my laptop then open it on my xbox, which kicks me off of the game on my laptop but opens it on my xbox

Our suggestion here, please attempt to follow our Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode
support article, as it references the steps that can be taken in order to play offline.

the solution for me was to use a vpn on my laptop, purchase the game in the store via browser on the laptop, and then the game shows up on the xbox waiting to be installed.

Certain games I'll always choose my gaming laptop over my Xbox. I'm currently playing Two Point Hospital on my laptop as I find that type of game easier with a mouse and keyboard.

Some "big" games from Game Pass (Subnautica, Ark for example) have also been played on my laptop as the SSD I have makes them load so much faster.

I plugged my HDMI from my xbox into the HDMI port on my laptop and went to the XBOX app on my laptop and the controller works it even let's me play cloud gaming games on it. I just don't understand why neither of the TVS are showing signal if it obviously works.
