Xbox Gamertage Even May 18 2016

Thanks for reaching out here in Forums. Unfortunately, here in forums we do not have the appropriate tools to help with this specific issue. If a gamertag is unavailable chances are it has been assigned to another Microsoft Account that may not be active
on Xbox.

There is already a policy in place for this. If the person does not sign into their account for 5 years (starting in 2016) the gamertag will be freed up. Keep in mind that the gamertag system is in use on other Microsoft services as well, so even if it's
not in use on an Xbox, it may be in use somewhere else.
